SRINAGAR, April 24: A three- day folk theatre festival exhibition  begun in Srinagar’s Tagore Hall from Monday, in which many personalities participated.
The festival is being organized by Alamdar Bhagat Theatre, Mohripora Anantnag – sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Srinagar. Noted writer
Mohammad Yousuf Taing,  Secretary  and Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Srinagar Dr. Aziz Hajini, Director, Theatre expert Mushtaq Ali Ahmad Khan President Alamdar Bhagat Theatre, Mohripora Anantnag Gul Mohammad  Mohripora, Syed Mudasir Gulzar Naqeeb Managing Director S.R Events, Shah-e-Jahan Ahmad Bhagat Festival Director were present on the occasion.
The festival started with honoring many personalities, who have contributed immensely in this field. Different groups performed on the stage on the first day. Scores of folk theatre lovers throng to the venue to catch the glimpse of the event.
