Baramulla, 5 May 2018:I mparting moral education to students is the need of the hour so that students become decent and humble along with acquiring education. This was stated by Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo during an academic tour of District Baramulla to monitor the imparting of moral education in schools at morning assembly sessions. Director School Education Kashmir visited Higher Secondary School Pattan and many other schools of the District and participated in morning assembly in these schools and observed the imparting of moral education to students. He directed all the Heads of the Institutions of Kashmir division to impart moral education to the students in their schools.
Later Director School Education Kashmir chaired an emergency meeting of all the Education officers of the District Baramulla and reviewed the process of engagement of recent temporary teachers in the schools. The officers briefed DSEK about the availability of staff in the schools. DSEK said that department is making every possible effort to provide sufficient staff to the schools in Kashmir. DSEK was given briefing about the academic activities, conduct of practicals, attendance of students and completion of syllabus in the schools. He said that the process of constant monitoring of schools by the constituted teams shall continue in future.
