Ganderbal: A youth was killed after a vehicle he was traveling in, was hit by a shooting stone at Zojila area on Srinagar-Leh Highway on Sunday afternoon.
As per reports a innova vehicle bearing registration number JK10-8742 which was on its way to Leh from Srinagar was hit by a shooting stone near AabMat Zojila area on Srinagar leh highway resulting into on the spot death of one person.
The deceased was identified Narsoo, 21, son of Tandub Tashi a resident of Saspool Leh.
On getting information, police team from police station Sonamarg rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to PHC Drass as Sonamarg side of the Zojila was blocked due to traffic jam in the area. (Agencies)
