Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Samboora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Earlier, government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Samboora area and started searches.
Soon the locals hit the streets and pelted the forces with rocks, who retaliated with tear smoke shells.
Clashes were going on when reports last came in. (Agencies)
