Pulwama: At least 6 CRPF personnel including a police officer have been injured in a grenade attack in Tral in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier in the day, four militants including a policeman and a civilian were killed during an encounter in south Kashmir’s Srigufwara village.

Police identified one of the militants killed as “Dawood”, who was heading the  Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK), an affiliate of ISIS.

The security forces also clashed with a group of youth who pelted stones at them.

The authorities have blocked internet services in three districts  Srinagar, Anantnag and Pulwama as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order.
