Srinagar, July 5, : Central Reserve Police Force Thursday claimed that unidentified persons lobbed a grenade on SSB vehicle near Flyover at Jahangir Chowk here in the heart of Srinagar city.
CRPF Spokesperson Sanjay Kumar told CNS that unknown persons tossed a grenade on SSB security vehicle (HR558281) near flyover that is under construction near Jahangir Chowk.
He said the grenade didn’t explode and nobody was hurt in the attack.
A police official meanwhile feigned ignorance about the incident saying no such attack took place there. (CNS)
