Srinagar: Baramullah-Handwara road was blocked on Saturday by protesters demanding appointment of tehsildar for their area, sources said.
The protest was held by the residents of Watergam area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The tehsildar of the area was transferred four months back and since then they suffer without a tehsildar, the protesters said.
