Srinagar: Militants on Friday afternoon lobbed a grenade towards government forces in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
Reports reaching GNS said that militants lobbed a grenade on forces however it missed the intended target and exploded on road side resulting splinter injuries to a civilian. He was rushed to the nearby hospital for specialized treatment. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(GNS)
