Srinagar, Sep 11, CNS: The family members and relatives of Sarjan Barkati will hold a protest demonstration demanding his immediate release. In a statement to CNS, the daughter of incarcerated leader, Sagrah Barkati appealed people of South Kashmir to observe a complete shutdown on September 18.
“We are living from hand to mouth since our sole bread earner is in the lock up from past 2 years. Nobody is coming forward for our help,” she said.
She appealed people to help them securing release of her father. “I on behalf of my family urge upon the people of South Kashmir to make the strike call successful,” she said.
