Pattan: Traders Union Pattan has called for complete shutdown today in Pattan town against the Block Medical Officer Pattan for his alleged role in shifting Sub District Hospital to Trauma Hopital.
According to Trade Union Pattan, all the business establishments and other shops will remain closed in Pattan town as a mark of protest against the Block Medical Officer Pattan Dr Masrat Iqbal Wani for his alleged conspiracy of shifting SDH Pattan to Trauma Hospital.
President Traders Federation Pattan, Sajad Ahmad Qadri said, “We want that Government should start Trauma Hospital at its allotted location, we will not allow them to shift old Sub District Hospital into the new Trauma Hospital.
The traders allege that BMO Pattan is playing dual policy and is trying to shift the said hospital and want to merge with the Trauma Hospital.
The Traders said that Trauma Hospital is a separate Hospital meant for accidental cases on National Highway and should not be clubbed with the Sub District Hospital.
