Islamabad, Sep 14 :ย  Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed the desire to deepen bilateral relations with France into a lasting partnership.
On Thursday night, French President Emmanuel Macron telephoned Mr Khan to congratulate him on his party’s election victory and for assuming his office, a report in Pakistan The told media said.

The French leader also praised Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.
Mr Macron expressed his governmentโ€™s desire to cooperate in the fields of energy, water resource management and trade and to work on issues of mutual interest at the global level.
Appreciating the presence of a large number of French companies in Pakistan, Mr Khan invited more French investments into the country.
Mr Khan invited President Macron to visit Pakistan which the French leader gladly accepted.
