Srinagar: Authorities on Monday evening restored the 3G and 4G mobile internet services in Bandipora and Baramulla districts of northern Kashmir.

Sources said that the services were restored immediately after the polling for local bodies elections ended at around 4 pm.

The services, according to sources, were snapped to prevent disturbance in the polling bound areas.

Earlier, official sources said that a in Baramulla 5.2 percent of polling was recorded.

Sources said that 1325 people polled their votes out of 25276.

Baramulla municipal committee consists of 15 wards.

Meanwhile reports from Bandipora another northern Kashmir district said 3.29 percent votes were polled from the Municipal Committee Bandipora. A total of 558 peoples exercised their franchise.
