Srinagar: A mother of three kids died of burn injuries in northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district with her family alleging her in-laws hand in the death.

The lady was brought to District hospital Bandipora Sunday with grievous burn injuries. “She died immediately after she was brought here,” a hospital official said.

The woman’s family alleged that her in-laws killed her by burning her. “She was married 8 years ago at Ahemshareef village, and since then she faced harassment from her in-laws,” they said.

They added that they have ‘evidence’ to prove that her in-laws were involved.

The girl was working as a nurse in the same hospital where she was brought with burn injuries.

A police officer at Bandipora told Kashmir Reader that all the in-laws have been called for questioning. The lady has three little kids among which a boy is specially abled.
