Srinagar, Nov 3ย  Dozens of far-flung and remote villages near the Line of Control (LoC) in the frontier district of Kupwara and Bandipora remained cut off from their respective district headquarters for the second day on Saturday due accumulation of snow and slippery road conditions.

The Sadhna and Razdan passes besides Z-Gali and Phirkiyan experienced fresh light to moderate snowfall during the night, reports reaching here said.

Official sources said that the road between Kupwara to border town of Keran remained closed due to moderate to heavy snowfall during the past 24 hours.
โ€œThe road has become slippery,โ€ adding that no traffic movement was allowed to avoid any accident.

Sources said similarly Kupwara-Tanghdar and Kupwara-Karnah roads also remained closed due to snowfall for the second day today. (UNI)
