Srinagar, Nov 03 : In wake of the snowfall, the authorities have decided not to allow any Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) towards Gulmarg from Tangmarg here without any anti-skid chains.
According to an order issued by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gulmarg, it is for the information of general public and transporters in particular that due to heavy snowfall in Gulmarg/Tangmarg, no LMV shall be allowed to move beyond the entry points at Tangmarg towards Gulmarg unless and until it is fitted with anti-skid chains to ensure the safety of tourists/passengers, however only 4*4 vehicles shall be allowed to move without chains.
