Srinagar: A militant was killed in a nrief gunfight in northern Kashmir’s Handwar district Sunday afternoon.
Reports said that suspected militants mounted an attack on a Naka party at Handwara bye pass.
They said that the attack was retaliated by the forces triggering a brief gunfight.
Sources said that one unidentified militant has been killed in the brief exchange of fire.
