Srinagar: Reacting to a remark by Kathua rape and murder case lawyer Deepika Rajawat after she blamed the victim’s family and said “human tendency which travels in genes,” former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah said that he is no more in support of the lawyer after the “snide remark about the genes”
“I was there with them when no one was. Now since the rainy days have passed, they are winding up with me just because I could not regularly attend the trial which is taken care of by senior criminal lawyers. I don’t blame them. it is the human tendency which travels in genes,” Lawyer Deepika Rajawat had earlier tweeted.
In reaction to this, Omar Abdullah took to his widely followed twitter handle and wrote: “You had me on your side until you slipped in the snide remark about the genes.”
