Srinagar: A civilian who was injured in alleged army firing near an army camp in Chattergam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district last night has succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura Saturday morning.

Identified as Ishfaq Ahmad, son of Nazir Ahmad Ganie of Magraypora Budgam, the doctors at SKIMS said that he died this morning.

Meanwhile army has refuted the claims of its involvement in the incident saying that Ganie was shot at by the militants 500-600 metres away from their camp at Chattergam.
