Srinagar, Dec 01: Peoples Conference (PC) Chairman and former minister Sajad Gani Lone has congratulated the people of north Kashmir for extension of rail link to Kupwara as it would cover a big chunk of population in Baramulla and Kupwara districts of north Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS, Sajad Gani Lone said, “a long awaited dream has come true for the majority of north Kashmir areas which were not connected by rail link till today but will be now connected by extension of rail link to Kupwara. I also thank central government for expeditiously resolving long pending demand of people of north Kashmir.”
Meanwhile in a tweet Lone said, “Railway line a reality and now parties who call us agents of Delhi want to take credit for it. Hilarious.” (KNS)
