Srinagar, Jan 03: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti impressed upon the Governor Satya Pal Malik to direct police, paramilitaries and other forces engaged in anti-militancy operations not to harass families of militants during searches and anti-militancy operations.
Talking to reporters after meeting family of some slain militant in Shopian, Mehbooba said, “As Chief Minister I had directed police paramilitaries and other forces not to harass families of militants during anti-militancy operations and urge Governor Satya Pal Malik also to direct police, paramilitaries and other forces not to harass families of militants during anti-militancy operations.”
