Says let people decide why she is doing it now

Srinagar, Jan 15 : Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday questioned PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti for visiting militant families.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of workers convention in Kulgam district, Omar said as Chief Minister she could have done more for such families, but at that time she completely forgot them.
โ€œShe could have done good for these families, when she was heading a government. She had good relations with Prime Minister. She was calling Defence Minister on phone and was also heading a powerful Unified Command,โ€ he said.
Omar said but at that time she never bothered to visit them.
He said Mehbooba had power, then she didnโ€™t visit the families of militants. โ€œNow when she has nothing with her, even her party is in shambles. She is visiting these families,โ€ said the NC vice president.
โ€œI donโ€™t have problems why she is visiting their families. I have a problem why did she not visit them when she was in power,โ€ he said.
Omar said it is for the people to decide if Mehbooba is doing all this for polls.
