Says anybody creating communal problem will be dealt with strictly as per law

 

Srinagar, Feb 27 : Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, M K Sinha appealed people to maintain peace and said nobody will be allowed to create any kind of communal problem anywhere.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), IGP said there is no need to panic and people must not get trapped in rumour mongering. “There was no need to get panicky and I urge people not to get trapped in rumour mongering and also maintain peace.”
He said can confirm the veracity of news by contacting civil administration or police directly.
About directions given to officers, Sinha said officers have been directed to remain highly alert in the area to take care of the security of the people and also telling people about current situation on ground in view of rumour mongering.
About communal harmony, IGP Jammu Zone said strict directions were given to officers that anyone trying to distort communal harmony in anyway, they should immediately act it upon under laws and take them into custody.
He said that nobody will be allowed to create any kind of communal problem in anyplace anywhere. (KNS)
