Appeals people of Jammu to maintain communal harmony

Srinagar, Mar 06 : Former Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda today said that the hand grenade lobbed in Jammu is to disrupt communal harmony in the region.

“The modus operandi of today’s hand grenade lobbing incident suggests hand of Hizbul Mujahideen behind it and is designed to vitiate the communal harmony in Jammu,” Khoda told Kashmir News Service (KNS).
“The sane peace loving voices and common people should not fall in the trap of militants. They must stand united to defeat their nefarious designs,” he added.
The former state police chief further appealed the people of Jammu to maintain communal harmony to defeat the nefarious designs, trying to harm the decades old communal harmony among the masses.
Over two dozen people were injured today in a grenade blast that was lobbed by suspected militants in Bus Stand Jammu. One among the injured has reportedly succumbed to his injuries while as the other injured are undergoing treatment. (KNS)
