New Delhi, Feb  (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday said that there should be mass movement if any person from Muslim community is sent to detention centres, “in case the Supreme Court upholds the validity of Citizenship Amendment Act”.

Addressing a student gathering, organised by the Congress student body NSUI, in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), over the CAA and National Register of Citizenship (NRC) and its implications in Indian society, Mr Chidamabaram said that the “CAA was an outcome of NRC fiasco in Assam”.
