Srinagar, Feb 24,:  Dal dwellers Monday appealed authorities to remove an official from Lakes and Waterways Development Authority who according to them is in the Corporation from past 15 years.

They told Kashmir News Trust that an employee who has been acting as Personal Assistant to successive Vice Chancellors has not been transferred from past 15 years, which is a brazen violation of service rules.

“How can an employee be at one place for 15 years? This employee unnecessarily creates problems for people and brags about his position. He is virtually the Head of the LAWDA and sometimes over-rules the directions from his superiors,” the delegation said and appealed authorities to get this employee transferred in the interest of Corporation and general public.
