Qazigund, Apr 30 : A lady injured in a scuffle between two families in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district three days ago succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Thursday morning.
Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), 40-year-old lady Saja Begum, wife of Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Shampora was admitted at SKIMS Soura on April 27 after being seriously injured in a scuffle between two families at Shampora in Qazigund.
Station House Officer (SHO), Qazigund A Q Peerzada while talking to KNO confirmed the death of lady due to a scuffle.
After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased will be handed over to next of her kin for last rites, he said.
“A case under FIR 117/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated,” the officer added—(KNO)
