Qazigund, Apr 30 : A lady injured in a scuffle between two families in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district three days ago succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Thursday morning.

Official sources told news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO), 40-year-old lady Saja Begum, wife of Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Shampora was admitted at SKIMS Soura on April 27 after being seriously injured in a scuffle between two families at Shampora in Qazigund.

Station House Officer (SHO), Qazigund A Q Peerzada while talking to KNO confirmed the death of lady due to a scuffle.

After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased will be handed over to next of her kin for last rites, he said.

“A case under FIR 117/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated,” the officer addedโ€”(KNO)
