Srinagar, May 19 : A day after Jammu and Kashmir recorded three Covid deaths in a single day, a 55-year-old COVID-19 positive with Cancer history, died at Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical (SKIMS) Soura on Tuesday morning.

With the fresh death, the total number of Covid deaths in J&K have reached 17, of which 15 are from Kashmir and two from Jammu region.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura Dr Farooq Jan told News Agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a 55โ€year-old, COVID-19 positive patient from Rafiabad, who was Covid positive, died of a cardiac arrest. He said the patient was admitted to hospital for some time now.
