Srinagar: Demanding the shifting of Kupwara’s Covid-19 patients to some other location,senior PDP leader and Rajya sabha member Fayaz ahmad mir has said that designating Kupwara sub-District hospital as COVID-19 hospital has caused immense problems to the non-covid patients of the area.
Talking to Kashmir Press Service,Fayaz Ahmad Mir said that Kupwara Sub-Distrct hospital catters to a vast population and designating it as a COVID-19 hospital has resulted into immense inconveniance to non covid patients of the border district.
He said that the COVID-19 patients admitted in the Kupwara hospital should be shifted to some other location far from the town so that people in the area have not to face any inconvenience due to Red-zone around the health facility.
He demanded that District administration Kupwara should look into the issue and the patients should be shifted to some other convenient location. (KPS)
