Bandipora, Sept 07 : A prominent chemistry lecturer and principal government higher secondary died due to cardiac arrest at his home in Nadihal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday afternoon.

An official told the news agencyโ€”Kashmir news observer (KNO) that Tariq Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Shafi Shah, a resident of Nadihal suffered a heart attack this afternoon and he was immediately shifted to district Hospital Bandipora where he breathed his last.

An official of DH Bandipora said that he apparently died due to the heart attack and said that after completing all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members.

Pertinently, Tariq Ahmad was posted as principal government higher secondary school Kaloosa and a prominent chemistry lecturer.

Tariq has left behind his wife, who is also a lecturer and two daughtersโ€”(KNO)
