Srinagar, Oct 03: A biker was seriously injured on Saturday, when he was hit by a speedy tipper in Kanira village of Khan Sahib in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com-KDC) reported.

A police official said that a speedy tipper hit a motor cycle, bearing registration number JK04 B 0989, between Kanira and Dreygam area of Khan Sahib in Budgam district injuring the biker seriously.

The biker identified as Umar Yousuf son of Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Dreygam Khan Sahib, was immediately shifted to Sub-district Hospital Khan Sahib, where he is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and is on a lookout for the tipper and its driver, who fled from the scene, after hitting the biker. (KDC)
