Srinagar (KPS): Ministry of home affairs has started investigations into the alleged embezzlements, nepotism and corrupt practices in SKIMS, Srinagar.
Highly placed sources told Kashmir Press Service that a complaint was made to the ministry of home affairs that during the Covid-19 Lockdown an ambulance remained absconding from SKIMS for almost two months and it is believed that the same was used to benefit a close relative of the Director SKIMS, who happens to supply medicine to the Institute, making the patients suffer.
Home ministry has started investigations into the matter and the high level committee investigating the issue is likely to submit its report in a couple of days.(KPS)
