Srinagar, Oct 22: Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday suspended Sheikh Javid, Senior Assistant of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) service, then posted in Gazetted section of Health & Medical Education Department (now attached in GAD), and Sudesh Kumar, Basic Health worker, Directorate of Health Services Jammu, the then Class-IV employee, Legal section, Heath & Medical Education Department (now attached in GAD) for pending inquiry against them.

โ€œPending enquiry into their conduct, the following officials are hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control Appeal) Rules, 1956,โ€ reads a government order, a copy of which lies with news agency KDC.

Both the officials have been suspended in case FIR number 12/2020 registered in ACB police station Jammu against them. (KDC)
