Kulgam, Nov 12 : Burglars on the intervening night of Wednesday-Thrusday striked a house of orphan lady in Kulgam and looted gold ornaments worth lakhs besides cash.
According to reports reaching to Kashmir News Service that burglars looted the house of Ghulam Qadir Khan resident of Pati Akhran and manged to stole gold ornaments and cash from the house.
Locals of the area however alleged a drug peddler, saying he was fond of looting cash and kind in past.
They said that the known drug peddlers is involved in various theft cases against which multiple FIRs stand registered.
Local appealed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar to intervene into the matter at an earliest and put the involved person behind the bars.
