Uri, (Baramulla), Feb 8 : A person has succumbed to serious burn injuries, he sustained in a fire incident, that broke out in Sultankadi area in border-town Uri on Sunday afternoon.

As reported earlier by GNS, five persons, including three members of a family, had suffered injuries after a blaze broke out of a hay-stock.

The injured persons included; Sajid Ahmad, Abdul Rasheed, Roshi Begum, Wahid Ahmad and Mafad Ahmad.

However Sajid Ahmad (25) with serious burn injuries in the incident succumbed to injuries at SMHS Srinagar this afternoon.

Confirming the fatality, an official said that Sajid had received major bodily injuries in the accident, resulting in his death at SMHS, Srinagar.

“Abdul Rashid his wife Roshi Begum and son Wahid Ahmad are under treatment at the hospital”, the official added.(GNS)
