Srinagar, Mar 03 : The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been temporarily closed for traffic movement due to mudslides at Shahbanbas in Banihal area of Ramban district on Wednesday morning.

Traffic authorities told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the highway has been due to the Mudslide at Shahbanbas in Banihal.

They said that men and machinery are on job and clearance work is going on. “As soon as the road will be cleared, the condition of the road will be reviewed after which it will be opened for traffic movement,” they said.

Earlier, traffic authorities in their communiqué had said that LMVs (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar toward Jammu on Wednesday—(KNO)
