Srinagar, Jun 09 : The “crucial” meeting of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) commenced at the former chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief, Mehbooba Mufti’s Gupkar residence.

Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the meeting began at 05:10 PM in which PAGD’s president and National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah, Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami, Hassnain Masoodi, Javid Mustafa Mir, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah and Mehboob Beg are present.

The meeting has its significance as it has been called after a six-month-long period and amid the speculations over further bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting was going on when this report was last filed.

Pertinently, the PAGD, a conglomerate of political parties was formed in Jammu and Kashmir to fight for the restoration of pre-August 05, 2019. Nonetheless, the silence prevailed within the conglomerate for the last couple of months—(KNO)
