SRINAGAR, Oct 26: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Dr. Syed Zahoor Geelani, father-in-law of noted journalist and Editor Kashmir Despatch Syed Basharat, who passed away after a brief spell of illness in a hospital at Delhi.

In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari termed his demise as extremely unfortunate while describing him as an epitome of humility, generosity and sincerity.

โ€œDr. Zahoor had also served as Block Medical Officer whose honest services and selfless contributions had earned him immense reverence. I express my deep condolences with the bereaved family especially with Syed Basharat and his family. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the bereaved family bear this irreparable loss,โ€ Bukhari said.

Besides, Apni Party leadership also conveyed their profound sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
