Srinagar, Dec 07 : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Tuesday strongly condemned the blasphemous publication in school text books.

Mir also demanded banning of Jay Cee Publications.

JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir has strongly condemned the blasphemous content in school text books and said the publication house deserves to be banned.

JKPCC president demanded stern action against the persons responsible for publication of the blasphemous content in text books.

“It was a deliberate move to hurt the sentiments of a Muslim community, which is not acceptable and will not be tolerated,” JKPCC president added.

“This is not a mistake to be taken casually, the authorities should bring the culprits to book, besides banning the Publication House,forthwith,” Ghulam Ahmad Mir demanded.
