Srinagar, January 19: Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather on Thursday visited dedicated Covid-19 maternity hospital Chanpora and took stock of all the facilities being provided to the patients.

A spokesperson of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said the director visited the Chanapora which has been especially dedicated for maternity services.

He inspected all the sections of the hospital including the x-ray section, theater, general wards, and took stock of Covid-19 arrangements for better patient care services.

The director also interacted with patients and said the administration is fully geared and has made all the arrangements especially for maternity care in hospitals.

He said that staff for the same will be pooled from these districts. Pertinently, at the dedicated Covid-19 facility, around 15 Covid-19 positive patients are admitted in the hospital and are undergoing treatment.

He was accompanied by various officers and officials of the health departments.
