A business group from Jaipur while staying in a houseboat in Srinagar’s Dal Lake alleged that they were misbehaved during their one night stay.

Jain group which includes the employees, friends and family members while visiting the Kashmir Valley hailed the beauty of the Himalayan region and were impressed by the breathtaking views of Srinagar city, Kashmir’s winter wonderland Gulmarg and Sonamarg.

The group stayed in Kashmir for a week and enjoyed not just the scenic places around but were also mesmerized by the sympathetic behaviour of people. However, when the group had to leave Kashmir, they decided to stay in a houseboat namely Bangkok CA at Ghat number 15 on Srinagar’s iconic Dal Lake.

Some of the group members alleged that they were moved by the overall beauty of Kashmir but were soon agonised after the house boat staff misbehaved with the tourists.

The “misbehavior” was such that the Jain group reached Srinagar’s press colony and narrated the ordeal before reporters. “We enjoyed every bit of Kashmir but the unwelcoming scenes witnessed inside the houseboat has thrown all of our good memories in trash,” said one of a group member.

The group demanded a stern action against the erring house boat staffers and have also urged the tourist police to take quick cognizance of the matter.

On Wednesday the group in a bad taste reached Srinagar International airport wherefrom they returned back to Jaipur.
