In a bid to to enhance cooperation on connectivity and infrastructure amongst India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Europian Union and the US, a connectivity corridor has been launched today at New Delhi’s G20 Summit, reported ANI.

The announcement of historic initiative is considered to be a major diplomatic breakthrough for India.

The ambitious project encompasses a masterplan to build a rail and shipping corridor linking India with the Middle East and Europe to stengthen the partnership between the countries which will eventually facilitate economic growth and political cooperation. The cross-border corridor project includes India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Israel and the European Union.
