The 13th Triennial General Council of the State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Chandigarh Circle, was successfully held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout of over 2,000 SBI officers from across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.
Shri Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, SBI Chandigarh Circle, virtually graced the occasion and delivered the Inaugural Address. In his remarks, he lauded the efforts of the Association and emphasized the crucial role of officers in reinforcing the strength and integrity of the banking system.
Com. Rupam Roy, General Secretary of AISBOF and AIBOC, delivered the Keynote Address, setting the tone for the day’s deliberations. He highlighted the key challenges faced by bank officers and shared vital updates on national-level developments impacting the banking fraternity.
The gathering was further enriched by the address of Com. Arun Kr Bishoyi, President, AISBOF, and other esteemed dignitaries, including SBI General Managers Shri Manmeet S. Chhabra (NW-1) and Shri Neeraj Bharti (NW-2), who shared their insights and support for officer-led initiatives.
The event drew enthusiastic participation from delegates and senior leadership representing SBI Circles across the country—Ahmedabad, Amravati, Bengaluru, Bengal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kerala, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Northeast, Patna, and others—making it a vibrant and dynamic congregation of officer representatives.
