Srinagar August 06: Post merger of the Handicraft & Handloom Department, Honโ€™ble LG Shri Manoj Sinha yesterday unveiled the logo of Handicrafts & Handloom, Kashmir. The design of the logo consisting of a Chinar leaf and a Badam motif has been appreciated by the cross section of the society.

The logo has also been created in 13 craft categories by the Master craftsmen from the School of Designs that include Carpet, Papier Machie, Wood Carving, Crewel, Chain Stitch, Zari, Numdha, Kani, Tapestry, Willow, Copper and Pottery.

Besides, Honโ€™ ble LG, the logo unveiling function was attended by the Chief Secretary Shri Arun Kumar, Advisor to Honble LG Shri Baseer Ahmad Khan, Principal Secretary, I&C Department, Shri Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Shri Pandurang K. Pole, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shri Ajaz Asad, Director Handicrafts & Handloom, Kashmir Shri Mahmood Ahmad Shah and other HODโ€™s of Kashmir Division.
