Srinagar: The JKSRTC employees of Central Workshop, Pampore staged peaceful protest at workshop and d manded release 5 months pending salary and other demands, pertinent to mention that the employees of JKRTC are facing tremendous hardships particularly in absence of their monthly salaries. The workers were shouted slogans in favour of their genuine demands and appealed to Govt particularly the Hon’ble Advisor (B)/Chairman JKRTC, Chief Secretary Sh. Dr. A.K Mehta, Commissioner Secretary Transport Sh. Hirdesh Kumar, Managing Director JKSRTC Sh. Angraz Singh Rana, to address the issues of employees which includes.
1.Release of 5 months pending salary.
2. Regularization of consolidated employees.
3. Release of post retired benefits in favour retired employees.
4. Release of pending 56% D.A
5. Implementation of SRO-357 (Passenger Fine).
6. Implementation of SRO-43.
7. Concrete steps to recover hard earned money of RTC pending with different intending agencies/Departments.
The employees staged peaceful demonstration in implementation of Protest programme issued by the workers Union, the employees requested the Govt to address the issues confronting to employees and in case Govt / Management continued to slept over the issues, the protest programme shall be intensfied and consequences thereof shall be borne by the Management and Govt.
