Srinagar, Feb 01 : The authorities at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura have decided to resume OPD services from tomorrow after decline in Covid-19 cases in J&K over the last few days.

An order, issued by medical superintendent SKIMS Prof. Farooq A Jan, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) stated that due to decline in Covid-19 cases in Kashmir, OPD services at the institute will resume from Wednesday.

“In the interest of patient care and keeping in view plateauing of COVID wave in Kashmir, it is hereby ordered that the functioning of SKIMS OPD will resume from Wednesday i.e. 2nd February 2022,” reads the order.

Notably, due to surge in Covid-19 cases, OPD service were suspended in the second week of last month at the institute.
