A pilgrim on Amarnath Yatra from Haryana, died of cardiac arrest on Friday while he was on way to the holy cave shrine from Pahalgam base camp in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Mahaveer Prasad (66) son of Shri Gupta from Karnal Haryana, collapsed while on way to the cave shrine.
He said that he was taken to Panjtarni medical facility, where he was declared dead on arrival due to cardiac arrest—(KNO)
