Srinagar: The Leh-based 14 Corps Commander and other senior officers had a narrow escape when an Advanced Light Helicopter of the Army crash landed in Ladakh region this afternoon.

Official sources told UNI that an Advanced Light Helicopter of the Army crash landed in eastern Ladakh, about 200 km from Leh, at around 1330 hrs today.

They said the Leh-based 14 Corps Commander and other crew members on board the Helicopter were safe and no major injuries were reported. Meanwhile, a Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

However, defence ministry spokesperson was not available to confirm the incident.
