A police officer died on duty in the Abi Guzar area of Srinagar City.
Official sources said that a policeman who was deployed in the Abi Guzar area felt uneasy and collapsed. He was taken to the Police Hospital at Control Room where doctors declared him brought dead.
The cause of the death is attributed to cardiac arrest.
The deceased has been identified as Assistant Sub Inspector Mushtaq Ahmed, a resident of Karna Kupwara. [KNT]
