A minor girl drowned to death after she slipped into Nallah Shaliganga at Doodpathri area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Sunday, officials said.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the girl identified as Aayat Maqbool (07) daughter of Mohammad Maqbool, a resident of Burran Pattan drowned in Nallah Shaliganga after she slipped into it.
He said that soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched and later her body was retrieved.
