BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Saturday criticized opposition parties following the defeat of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill in the Lok Sabha.

Chugh said that Congress, DMK, TMC, SP, and AAP had “crushed the dreams and rights of 70 crore mothers, sisters, and daughters” by opposing the bill.

Citing remarks by Narendra Modi, he described the development as a “foeticide of women’s rights,” blaming the opposition for blocking legislation aimed at women’s empowerment.
